Sitting in McDonalds on Hershberger Rd, eating a salad and watching the world flood in and flow out again. No power at the house since Friday night. No telling when it will be back on. AEP won't tell us anything except Saturday at the earliest. Fortunately we have a friend with whom we can stay. With power. And air conditioning. And more channels than we have at home!
Co-worker from Lynchburg says he's got power. And Lynchburg was hit hard. Lucky man.
So, we're just waiting for the power to come on. Work is a joy at the moment. Great to be aboard.
